Recycling Rewards for Schools runs from 1st November 2005
to 31st March 2006. Its aim is to get our local primary school
children to encourage family and friends to pledge to recycle their
household waste and nominate the child’s school to benefit
from that pledge.
Every single school taking part will benefit. As people keep their
pledge and start recycling, points will be awarded to individual
local schools based on the number of pledges received and the amount
of rubbish recycled.
So, the more pledges a school gets, the more points they’ll
be awarded! These can then be exchanged for really useful stuff,
like musical instruments, digital cameras and computers –
see our online Recycling
Rewards Catalogue to check out what your school’s
points could add up to.
